BK^^^^^^^^^^^^^ lam pleased to say that the new machine is now giving me every satisfaction, and the machine, I consider, is perfection. I will now give you some of the tests I have taken. 22481b of milk through my old Separator produced lll^lb of butter ; the same quantity through the Sharpies produced 1201b. You tee the Sharples has it by a toso way. I also made a test of the coal used by the machines. My old machine took 73ib of coal to put through 65gal of milk ; the Sharpies took 241b of coal to put through 80gal of milk, go you see there is an immense saying in coal. Another arrangement I have made causes the exhaust steam to condense, so that the boiler scarcely uses any water. Altogether I can now assure you I am highly pleased with my new machine.
