Castorina was quickest out of the slips and led by a couple of lengths to the first turn, and, running rings round Luck's All, allowed the latter only 3, Bingle point. Lynn Regis drew away from Fleetwood, and the latter, being unsighted for a time, was 20 lengths away when LVnn Regis turned, but upon Fleetwood getting in he turned thrice and was in posses3ion at the escapes, having then put up a winning score. Radiant led Alice Hawthorn three or four lengths, and did nearly all the work in a short course after a weak '' hare. Hafe Cure led up by 10 lengths from - Dresspiece, and although he worked poorly he was by virtue of his tpeed well in front when the slut killed. Blackthorn was the smarter out of the slips, but Deceit drew up on him in the run up, and it was difficult to say which scored the first turn, but in the subsequent; work Deceit proved much ths superior, and when the trial was concluded by a kill theie could bo no doubt as to her having won. Duckwing led up by several lengths, turned, and killed, Master M'Grath not scoring. After an undecided Master Razzle led Bannockburn in a starling run to the hare, and, driving all the way to cover, scored everything. Ronda led by three or four lengths to the first turn, but thereafter Sealed Packet got in, and doing all the rest of the work won easily. Wood's Hotel led White Heather, and working very cleverly scored everything until the slut killed. Favonius led by about 10 lengths, and was in possession all the way to the escapes. Kate Kearney and Kingdom were slipped to a clinking hare, and both became temporarily unsighted, but after the trial really began the slut, working very cleverly, ran up a loDg score in a gruelling course, which unfortunately ended in a kill when all hoped that the hare would escape. Wallace led up four or five lengths and beat Maremma 3 to 1 in the exchanges. Lord Rosebery led Flying Jib several lengths to the hare, and put up a fair score before the slut got in, and though the latter then worked the hare to the escapes, she was unable to wipe out Lord Rosebery's advantage. Maxim had superior pace to' Euroclydon, and the latter wasquiteoutclassedin the working, although. Maxim proved quite an average dog. Blackthorns II outpaced and outworked Lillie Langtry, the latler standing off all through. Klfcham led up by three or four lengths, and did all the work in the early stages of the trial, but Alpine Guide securing possession scored steadily, and when a kill ended a long coursa Eltbam cannot have had much to spare. Castorina beat Faster and Faster Fleetwood beat Radiant Deceit beat Safe Cure Master Razzle beat Duckwing Wood's Hotel beat Sealed Packet Favonius beat Kate Kearney Wallace beat Lord Rosebery Blackthorn II a bye, Maxim being withdrawn Pretty May beat Elthara. Faster and Faster drew away from Castorina on being slipped, but the slut quickly laced passed him and led up by several lengths and turned four times in good style, allowing Faster and Faster only two or three wrenches before the escapes were reached. Fleetwood led Radiant three lengths to the first turn, and the latter then turned to Fleetwood's teeth. Deceit just led Safe Cure to the hare, and did practically all the work, the latter dog standing off. Master Kazzle and Duckwing ran an undecided, but in the deciding trial the former ran away from, the slut, led up by several lengths, and bad the advantage in the exchanges. Wood's Hotel led Sealed Packet a few lengths, and working cleverly, scored nearly everything in a longish course. Favonius was much faster than Kate Kearney, and led by several lengths to the hare, which he worked like a tradesman, giving the slut a few wrenches only. Lord Rosebery led Wallace to the turn, and did much better work than the latter, keeping on the line of the hare while Wallace stood off ; but he Blowed towards the end, and Wallace put a few points to his credit, but the judge's decision in favour of the brindled dog created general surprise. Maxim being withdrawn. Blackthorn II had an accidental bye. Pretty May led up by a couple of lengths, and showed much better form in the working than. Eltham, running riDgs roun<J the lattefe

Master Razzle was quickest out of the slips, but Deceit raced past him and led by three ' lengths, turned twice and wrenched, a turn to each followed, and Master Razzle killed meritoriously, but the judge's verdict in favour of the latter caused general dissent. Favonius (4 to 1 on) led Wood's Hotel four lengths and worked a clinking hare splendidly, Wood's Hotel scoring only three or four points in a long trial, in which he stood off the game a good deal. Pretty May (2 to 1 on) led Wallace three or four lengths, turned and wrenched twice or thrice, and then Wallace destroyed his chance by killing. A iv.
