The Alhambra Club's Second Fifteen mefe defeated the Caversham Second at Opoho by two goals *nd three tries (19 points) to nothing. For the Alhambra Gardener (2), Larkins (1), Johustone (1), and Taylor (1) scored tries, Lelliott aud Cunningham converting one each. 'Ihe forwards played with fine combination, while there was also a decided improvement; iv the back play. The Alhambra Third met the Star Second at the Reclaimed ground, the game resulting in a draw —no score being registered. Among tbe Alhambra Bell, Murray, aud JPayfcon were tho most prominent. > Tbe Zinnari-Richmond held their final practice match at Montecillo, when a Probable Fifteen played the Clnly who mustered 22 nlayei'3. The ground was in capital order, and the game, which was very fast throughout, ended iv a win for the Probables by 30 points to f nothing. The Pirates held their final practice on Saturday, when a Probable Fifteea played the Club, and succeeded in winning by 27 points to 10. For the Blacks. Shand (2), M'Leod (2), lease,, Macasßey> and Salmond scored, Priest, Mathesou, and Hay each converting one. For the Club, Thomso-i and Kingston scored, and Kingston converted both tries. Some very good form was shown on both aides, and besides tho above Maclean, Mb'Uer, Armour, Denny, and M. Priest played well. ! The Star defeated the Ravensbourne by 27 points (nine tries) to nothing. The following scored for the Star :—H. Bennett (3), T. Elder (2), R. Bennett, A. Walker, J. Murdoch, and W Yorston. The combination of the Star accounted for the large score.
High School A defeated George street by 60 points to nothing. High School B had a win over Albany street; by 44 to nothing. Normal defeated Union sbreet School by 6 points to 5 For the winnerß Beattio, Meffin, and Elliot played well ; so did Yorston, Smith, and M'Quinnanfor the losers.
