HORSESHOE BEND MINING. (From' Our Own Correspondent.)
May 3. — There has been nothing definite ia mining here to report for the last few weeks. The Island Block Company are talcing out a large paddock, so we shall hope on for another week or so for good news from thig quarter. The Craig Flat mine is not yet bottomed. The Golden Gate has fait the rise in the river, for I learn that her weekly tallies for the past month have not reached double figures. General regret is expressed at the Golden Lead s continued silence.
