Still another huce catalogue of poultry at our weekly sale 1-ist Friday, including two big lots sent us by other agents who could not sell them. We were succesvfuf in clearing every line, including a great number which we had held from the previous week at our own expense, prices obtained showing a considerable increase, although far from what they would have been had not ridiculously low prices been accepted at earlier sales. Hens realised 2s 3d to 2s 8d ; young cocks —very small 2s 31 to 2s 4d, well grown up to 3s ; ducks, 3s 31 to 3s 9d ; geese, 5s ; turkey hens, 4d ; cocks, 6d to 71d.
