Silo Princeps Fecit.
Near the entrance to the church of San Salvador, in the city of Oviedo, in Noithern Spain, there is a very ancient tomb, which was erected at considerable expense by a prince named Silo.
On it is the Lai n inscription, "Silo Princeps Fecit." so arranged that it c%n be read hundreds of different ways, by beginning with the capital S in the centre, as below :—
