The Otago Fruit and Piioduce Agency, (agents for the Teviot and Alexandra Fruitgrowers' Company, Limited) report as follows :—: — Fruit. — In heavy supply. Pears, market glutted, \pples • Dessert sorts, 2d to 3d per lb ; cookers, Id to 2d per lb. Plums (good demand), 2d to 4d per lb. Peaches, 2Jd to 5d per lb. Nectarines, 3d to 4!/d per lb. Tomatoes, IJd to 2d per lb ; hothouse, 2Ja to 3Jd perlb. Grapes, 9dto to Is 3d pur lb. Cucumber?, 2s to 4s per dozen. Produce. — Egps in good demand. Butter : Frebh, 5d to 7d per lb ; salt (prime), 6Jd per lb ; Honey Extracted. 4d to 4jd per lb ; sections. 6s to 7s per dozen. Potatoes : Kidneys, £4, to £5 per ton. Onions, £7 to £8 per ton. Poultry — The prices at our last sale were : Hens, 2s lOd per pair ; roosters, 2s 6d to 3s per pair ; chicks. Is 6d per pair ; ducks, 3s to -4s 3d per pair. We sell poultry by auction every Friday morning at 9 o'clock. We receive consignments any day, of all kindt of fruit, farm, and dairy produce for sale. Returns weekly
