30TES BY JACK. I The Canterbury bowlers on Wednesday evening gave a farewell aoci&l to Mr B J. Hale, who is leaving for Sydney, and Measr« E. C. Ashby and T. Skelfcon, who are about to visit England. A match between the Caledonian and Kaituna dabs was played off on Saturday on the I Caledonian green, resulting in a win for the Caledonian by 9 poiuts. Three rioks from the Dunedin Club journeyed to Green Island on Saturday to play the local club. The green was in good order and very keen. A pleasantly contested game ended in a win for the Dunedin Club, who were hospitably entertained by the home team. Players and scores : —
