LAND BOARD.

A special meeting of the Land Board, held on j Thursday, was attended by Messrs J. P. Maitland j chief commissioner), Dallas, Clark, Duncan, aud M'Kerrow. Hawea Hundred. — Consideration was given to an application of 11. Barker and F. J. Dalgety for a j license to occupy the un«nld land in the Hawea , Hundred — It was decided ti grant a yearly licence to 11. Barker at a lental of £1 par annual, with license fee £1 Is.
