THE SEAMEN'S DEMANDS. Wellington, January 30.
The diffhulty bstwetu the Seamen's Union and the Wellington Steam Packet; Company has been amicably settled by the latter conceding to the demandt of the union in respect; to the wage* for overtime and the holiday rates. Consequently tbe application lodged with the clork of awards has been withdrawn. The clause as rrgarrts Sunday sailing has also been aatia faotoriiy arranged. The Seamen* Union is now comtnunicatiug with the other companies asking if they are prepared to conceda its demands.
