VICTOKIA v. NEW SOUTH WALES. Sydkey, January 26. There was a large attendance at the crioket match to-day, and the weather was- fine except that a heavy thunderstorm occurred during the afternoon. The New South Wales second innings resulted in heavy individual scoring, and at the o!o=e of the day's play the score stood at 404- for the loss of eight wickets. Garretfc made 42, Donnan 84, Irsdale 62, Mackenzie 50, *Nob!e not out 74. Nine different i bowlers were tried by the Victorians. j # J&uuary. 27. | The second innings of New South. Wale* closed for 570 (Noble not out 153, M'Kibbia 37, Hqvrell 43). Noble gave an almost faultless display of cricket, Howell made some great drives, and M'Kibbfn showed excellent form in spite of a badly injured hand*.
