THE OFFICIAL CALENDAR OF THE DUNEDIN JOCKEY CLUB.
The Otago Witnkss has bsen appointed the Official Calendar for the publication of all programmes in the Provincial District of Ot&eo, in terms of Rule 17 of the Rules of Racing. Rule 17 reads :—": — " The programme of each meetiug in which the added moneyls £150 or upwards must be advertised 4n hill once at least in th« Official Calendar. Tho advertisement shall show that the programme has been approved by tho Jockey Olub, 'shall state the days on which the meeting is to beghx and end, and the names of the stewards judge, starter, cleik of scales, and hfttttUcapvier." All notifications for the ftture published in this column are so published under the authority of the Dunedin Jockey Olub, and are binding on country clubi and others, who must therefore duly note the SAmo.
The committee of the Dunedin Jockey Club meet on the last Thursday ia each month to paas programme and transact general business. SYDNEY JAMES, Secretary.'
