•The Mutual Agency Company op New Zealand (Limited) repoit that prices ruled as under at their weekly auction sale yesterday :— - Oats.— Wo offered a small catalogue yesterday, bu t could sell nothing at auction. The attendance was confined to a few outsiders, who, however, did not appear to want anything unless at low prices. Privately we sold inferior at Is 6jd to Is 7d, and during last week best feed at Is 9d' to Is 91d. Market is distinctly easier and tendency is downwards. ' Wheat.— Nothing freiih to. report, and there is practically notbidt doing. Potatoes.— Supplies have been coming to hand more freely, aud as produce merchants bought early in anticipation of a rise, demand is at present restricted and prices are easier. Beat northern. £2 15s to £2 178 6d ; southern, £2 10s to £2 12s 6d. Ohaff is slightly easier, but without any quotable change. Good is worth £2 12* 6d to £2 15 a; extra prime, £2 17s 6d.
