AUCKLAND TRAINING NOTES.

Auckland, December 12. This morning Chaafe opened proceedings by sending the two-year-old colt Sb Paul a fast' six furlongs. Impulse was the utxt to work. His mission was two rounds on the tan at about thiee- quarter pace. He showed no signs of soreness, and pulled up sound. Panoply bad slightly the best of St. Hippo at the end of a fast run over six furlongs. Forma finished ♦ in front of Stepfeldb in a gallop over the same distance. Kingsman galloped a round by himse'f, movivg sluggishly.' St. Clements, who looks very lights cantered twice round. Levanter was schooled over the big -fences. Fishmonger got through niono. Armilla proved too good for Acono at the right end of six fudoßga. First Nelson compaued two rounds at a sound p*co, going very freely. The Possible and Osculator in company, galloped a mile and a-half. at three-parts speed, both horses pleasing the onlookers. Time Star negotiated two rounds at his best pace alone. Pegasus, covered a couple of rounds at a strong pace. Dreamland, who appears to be improving, galloped a a round iv a taking manner. Repeater proved too good for Sb. Simon in a gallop over a mile.
