ARRIVAL OF THE ZEALANDIA.

On Monday morning the Shaw, Savill, and Albion Company's ship Zealandia, from Glasgow, arrived at Port Chalmers. Her passage has been rather a long one for this fine vessel, Laving occupied 98 days from anchor to anchor, the length of -which is attributed to meetIng calms and light airs from the time she left the Channel until f-he crossed the equator— on the forty-second day out. But good progress was made after she rounded the Cape, oi ly 32 days baviug been occupied from the Cape to her anchorage. The vessel comes iDto port in that usual excellent order which has always characterised her under the command of Captaiu Bate. She bri&es 1100 tons of cargo, about 800 tons being for .Dunedin, and the remainder, including the dynamite, being for Welliugton. Her draught is 17ft lOin. During the passage, while off Cherbourg, two pig«ons flew on board, which were caught. On the leg of one there is a silver band, on which is marked S.S. 93-2, and on the wing «f the other there is the number 31756.
