A special mooting of the tiusb -was held on Thursday afternoon for the purpose of receiving tenders for a loan of £5000 for tne erection of c ol atorei at Port Chalmers, the debentures of which were fixed at £100, bearing interest at tha rate of 5 por cent, with n cumn n."y of 10 year?. Theru Wrro present— Me«at3 A. Tu. m on (chairman), B. G. Allwo, H. Gviirloy, and J. Watsjn juu. An apology was received for the ab-cnue of Mr Gow. Vot the loan of £5000 nine lenders were re« ceirod, varying from £102 (o £100 2i 6d, and' amounting in the aggregate to £13,100. It wm rts lved to accept £400 at £102, £2600 at £101 10s *nd £1500 at £100 4a 6:l— making a total of £4500. The toudors received for the erection of the refrigerating chambors were us follow:— Q. Franc, £2263 ; G. Motison, £2124 ; J. Manning, £2254 17i; Cr*wford and Watsr-n. £2231 14s 7d ; — Waites, £2399 9s ; J. E. White, £2381; R. B.iuch-p, £234* 10«. —On the motion of Mr Watson, seconded by Mr Goonlkv, it was resolved to accept the fendvr of Jfs Georgo iVTo.ison for (ho mm of £2124, vubjoofc to the approval of air H\y, the engineer, to thft trust.
