THE CATTLE TRADE.
London, August 7. The Gulf of Siam's stock were sold alive at Deptford. Cattle brought from L2l to L 22, and sheep sold at 38s.
August 8.
The Eohuca landed eight cattle and 95 sheep in good condition. The bullocks improved 301b on the voyage. The sheep sold for 38s each.
August 10.
The Belgian Government have authorised railway companies to import live sheep to be slaughtered at Antwerp for export.
August 11. The Tekoa, which left Lyttelton on June 20, arrived with her sheep in good condition. One waß lost.
