Messrs Wright, Stephen-son, and Co. report as follows :— * The entry of horses for our sale on Saturday was rather below the average in number, and ponsisted almost eptirely of medium to inferior light hor»t-s and small spring cart horses. The demand for theie was very limited, and but few sales were made. The few draught horses that were forward realised fair prices, and as there are always buyers for good young sorts of this class, we recom-
mend any of our friends who have any for sale to send them in now. We quote : — Heavy draiights(4yrsto6yis), £20 to £25 ;do (Byrato H'yrs), £12 to £l9; medium dv uglifcs(4yrstotiyrd), £14to £18 ; light and binsll do, £S to £12 ; aged and inferior do, £4 to £7 ; upstanding spring cart horses (young and sound), £»2 to £16; active spring van horsts (do), £14 to £18 ; upstanding hacks and harness borsea, £10 to £14 ; aged and inferior do £2 to £5.
