LAND BALLOT.
A ballot was taken at the Crown Lands Office on Thursday for pmall grazing run 9 of 23, Kurow, situated at th* b&ck of the town of Kurow, and containing 1929 acres. The rental was 7^rd per acre. Thirty applications were received, and Walter Sutherland was the successful applicant. The ballot was osnd acted by Mr W. Robertson, under the supervision of Mr J. F. Mtitltnd, and Mr T. A.
