Winding brooks and ferny dells, Ringing mokarnok* bells, .Dewy cobwebs swinging free Chains of pearl from tree to tree, Glinting wrens that flash in air Greenest plumes from bough to bough J All the morn is fresh and fair, Life and music everywhere, That shall hear my bridal vow. ii. Bare little church at the edge of the wood, "Where matai and rimu so lately stood, Olasb your poor little tinkling bell : The rich bush-choir has sung so wull, I cover asked you for a bridal hymn, Tet tinkle away till the bride comes in. 111. Languid noon with its heat and its pale blue sky, % have sworn an oath to love, to love till I die. Surely I never shall find it hard to love? Blooming crimson the ratas trail above, JBees drone over the k Tomiko's flowers White and purple, while onward dance the hours. She v- mine, she is mine to hold forever now, For the golden morning has heard my bridal vow ; Dance happy hours, lead on the mellow light, Kicli with flowers and sweet in the pale moonlight ; Dance happy hours and lead me to my delight.
