Bathing. -Very good arrangements have beea made this year for bathing in the Waikaka. A suitable portion of the stream h»B been set aside for the purpose, and men and women, boys aud girls, avail themselves of the luxury. Only norn» details of municipal legislation remain to be completed to make a thoroughly popular bathing place. Cricket.— The only match of any importance played at Gore this season was that between the llweradale and Maiaun Clubs, which took placehere on Saturday. The form shown was not brilliant, but the Mataura team won with ft good bit to Bpare. ________
