NEW ZEALAND CYCLISTS' ALLIANCE.

The General Committee of the Now Zealand Cyclists' Alliance met at the Pioneer Bicycle Club's rooms on Tuesday. 23rd inst. PresentMessrs W. B. Eyre (in the chair), W. G. G*rr»rd, F. J. Dunn, 0. W. Milner, F. Denby, G. Jones, 0. H. Jones, G. Mussen, R. Sneddon, B. A. England, W. E. Mills, and J. 0. Cusack (hon. secretary). Mr D. Sutherland was elected a delegate of the Invercargill Cyoling Club. The Gore Cycling Club was affiliated to the alliance.

The Napier Wanderers' Bicyle Club forwarded its programme for a race meeting on November 9, and applied for permission to run tha Twomile Provincial Champ!ouship of Napier. — The application was granted, and the programme approved. The programme f»r the Pioneer .Bicycle Club's Boxing Day meeting was approved, and the club was allowed to include the One-mile Championship of Canterbury on the programme. The programme for the Timaru Tourirts' Cycling Club was passed, and permission granted to hold the Fire-mile Championship of Canterbury.

Mr J. 0. Shetland's record of 114 miles in 7hr 47min was passed as the Hurunui record.

Mr W. B. Eyre was unanimously elected handicapper for the season 1894-95, The f ollowmg consuls were appointed : — Messrs A. O. Wilmot (North Canterbury), A. C. Norris (Hawko's Bay), and D, W. Burn (North Otago). A letter was read from Mr S. R. Stedman (Dunedin), elating that he had acted as a pacemaker for one of the competitors in the Twentyfour Hours' Ca«h Race at Duuedin last month. — The letter and explanation were received, and it was resolved to ask Mr Stedman to apply for reinstatement in the ordinary way.

An application was received from Mr K. Lewie to be reinstated as »n am ateur.— After some diicussion, it was decided to adjourn the matter for a week.
