Sydney, July 2. At the stud sheep sales to-day there
was a good attendance of buyers. The following are the average prices : — John Grigg (Longbeach) — Shropshire Down rama, L 4 123 2i ; ewe?, L 2 3s 4d. New Zealand and Australian Land Company — Lincoln rams, L 6 Ids lid. Mr Sutton — Shearling Lincoln rams, L 5 10a 3d ; two-tooth, L 4* 17s Id. Mr John Reid (Klderslie)— Ewes, L 3 33 7d ; rams, L 5 4s 93. Mr Henry Overton (Canterbury) — Lincoln-Leicester ram lambs, L 7 4s. Mr O. Threlkeld (Canterbury)— Rams, L 3 13s 6d. Messrs Sutton — Rams, L 5 153 Id ; ewes, L 2 lla Od. Mr Collins— Rams, L 3 5s lOd. Mr Hall — Rams, L 4 11s lOd; Messrs Digby and Jeffs (Ashburton)— Rame, L 4 93 3d. AU the above lots were Lincolns, with the exception of Me GriggV.

At the stud sheep sales, the highest price realised yesterdaywasSOOgs for the imported American ram Golden Drop.
At the stud sheep sales to-day bidding was spirited. The following are average prices : —
Leiosters — Mr Grlgg : Ewes, L 2 14s 7d ; rams, L 2 153 Id. Mr Threlkeld : Hoggets, L 3 13s 6i. Mr Murray : Rams, LlO 10.*. Mr Grant: Rams, L 3 133 GJ.
Romney Marsh — Mr Reid : Ewes, L 3 63. Mr Barrows : Rams, L 3 5s 8d ; flock rams, L 2 2s ; lambs, L 2 3a 2d. New Zealand and Australian Land Company : Rams, L 3 3a. Mr Wallis : Ram hoggets, L 5 14s 10J ; ewes, LlO 18s lid. Mr Dalton : Rams, LI 10j Od. Mr Duncan : Rams, L 2 10a 7d.
Lincoln — Mr Owens : Rams, L 2 2*. Mr Taylor : Rama, L 2 2s. Mr Bosanks : Rams, L 2 8s sd. Mr Seddon : Rams, L 2 10s 6d. Mr Ion : Rams, L 2 2*. Mr Hawes : Rams, L 2 7s 3d. Mr Pilkering: Rams, L 3 3s. The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company (Limited) have received the following cable from their Sydney office dated 3rd inst. : — " Our conversazione splendid success. Press describes it as perhaps the largest and most important representative gathering of pastoralists ever seen in Sydeny. The company's sale commences this afternoon. Perfect weather ; gratifying prospects."
