THE GLABGOW MARKETS.
Messrs John M'Nairn and Co. report :— Butter. — Since our last prices have declined all round. Colonial is very dull, and sellers are pressing sales. Danish to-day is offering freely at .90s to 965, and buyers are inclined to give it the preference. New Zealand fine, 70s to 85a per cwt ; choicest, 88s to 90a. Cheese.— Canadians, for which there has been a good demand during the past fortnight, are now nearly cleared. Colonial : The last arrivals have met with a ready sale at from 58s to 60s, and buyers. are now anxiously waiting the next arrival, when we look for a further increase in price.
