WEEKLY RETURNS.
The secretary of the Dunedin Gold Dredging Company (Limited) received the following telegram from the dredgemaster on Saturday ;— ' Washed up for 30oz gold." Last week Hyde and party's dredge obtained 14oz gold. The returns from Mr Gard's dredges for the week ended the 20th inst. are as follow :—: — Steam dredge, 15oz 17dwt ; current wheel, 6oz. — Dunstan Times.
The secretary of the Sandhills Gold Mining Company (Limited) reports 20oz 4gr of gold for last week's dredging. Mr Thomas Callender reports 141oz 13d wt sgr retorted gold from Sew Hoy Big Beach Gold Mining Company (Limited) for pa&t week ending Saturday, the 23rd inst. The secretary of the Sandhills Gold Mining Company (Limited) reports 40oz ldwt 18gr gold for last week's dredging. Mr Jabez Burton reports :— "The Kttrick dredge washed up for the week 9oz 16dwt 12gr, value £37 16s 6d. The Roxburgh dredge did not wash up ; repairing ladder of dredge."
