Capturing a Lunatic.
Very lately, wLilst several persons were journeying in a carriage of a Great Western train, at full speed on its way to Bristol, a gentleman next to the window suddenly opened the carriage door. His fellow passengers appreciated the situaMon at once.
Here was a palpable lunatic, intending ether to commit suicide by throwing himself out of the train, or to commit murder by hurling one of them out, which would be infinitely worse
Not a mom r nt was to be lost, so they pounced upon him, pinned him down in the corner, and holding him down, demanded what he meant by such conduct. Thereupon tbe unhappy prisoner, as soon as he was able to recover a little from tbe shock, gasped out that he only wanted to set free the tail of his coat, which had got caught by the door.
