RABBITSKIN MARKET.
Messrs Remshabdt and Co. report as follows :— ' Owing, no doubt, to the, wet weather, supplies have fallen off somewhat this week; but a week or two of frost will facilitate poisoning, when the first big parcels of full winters will reach our market. The quantity of really prime winters has so far been limited, but local prices for these compare favourably with present London values. We have paid lOd to lid for ordinary full winters, and up to 12d for pic/ted poisoned skins if killed with phosphorus, which leaves a cleaner pelt than the new .poisons. We have large orders on hand, and are prepared to give top market rates, net cash. Horsehair, 12d to 13d, picked Jd to Jd more.
