At the Antwerp wool sales competition is spirited, and prices are equal to those ruling at the February series.

At the Antwerp wool sales 9000 bales were offered, of which 3900 bales were sold, Including 400 bales of Australian consignments. The prices realised for River Plate wool were on a par with tha prices at the February sales, and Australian brought prices equal to the rates obtained at the last London series.

Messrs Dalgety and Company have received the following cablegram from their head office, dated London, June 16: — "Prices at the Antwerp wool sales are on a par with the last London sales' closing rates. The London wo< 1 market is steady owing to the fact that it may now be considered certain that the American tariff will pass. The sales by private contract between the series amount to about 1000 bales."
