BRUCE.
The annual meeting of the Bruce Licensiog Committee was held on Fiidsy, and ateuded by all the members of committee, with the exception of Mr R. S. Hawkins, S.M., in whose absence the chair was taken by Mr F. Wayne. Applications for renewals of publicans' licenses were granted as follows :— G. Coombe, Commercial Hotel, Milton ; F. Bastings, White Horse Hotel, Milton ; M. Kett, Railway Hotel, Milton ; W. Ward, Bridge Hotel, Havelock ; F. Dick, Inverness Hotel, Havelock ; F. M'Gowan, Kaitangata ;.D. Carson, Kaitangata ; Mrs Luks, Stirling Hotel, Stirling. A transfer of a license in respect to the Milton Hotel, from F. Grant to T. Grant, was granted. An aecsmmodation license was granted to Wm. Waiu, of Glenore. All the licenses granted were 10 o'clock licenses, and the committee decided to grant conditional licenses for shows, sports, &c.
