SIX GEORGE GREY.

Wellington, March 8. Sir George Grey states that ke really has no plans in regard to his visit to England. He has taken advantage of the Gothic's trip in the hope that the sea air and complete rest may restrro bis health somewhat. If his health is sufficiently restored he will probably come back .again by the return trip of the Qothic, but he may remain longer at Home. Meantime, he will not resign his seat while there is a chance of his being out in New Zealand again to take up his legislative duties next session.

Close on 200 people took advantage of the excursion from Lawrence on Thursday morning to enjoy a day's outing at Glenomaru and the beach at Port Molyneux. The Tuapeka Times suggests that these excursions should be made before harvest.
