This makes the third match running that the club has played without being beaten in a single rink. The following are the scores -.—. — Mir.TON. ,r.r TAIEUIt J. Bremner A M Liren R. Murray J. Easton. The return match between the above clubs took place on Thursday last on the Meadowbrook greeu. The weather was all that could be desired for bowling, this no doubt accounting for the number of onlookers, amongst whom ■were a sprinkling of the fair sex. The green, with the exception of No. 5 rink, played very well, its keenness being a puzzler to many of the yhceuix playeis. The match ended in a decisive win "for the older club by 34 points. At tho conclusion of the game, Mr Williamson, president of the Oamaru Club, in a few wellchosen remarks welcomed the visitors and trusted all had enjoyed the game. Trie President of the Phcenix Club, Mr R. Davidson, replied, and promised the Meadowbrook players a warm reception when they met again. The following wtre the scores : — PIUKMX. OAMARU. "W.
