London, December 29. The Bank of England returns, published today, show the total reserve in notes and bullion to be £15,488,000, the proportion of reserve to liabilities being 45 "68. New Zealand frozen mutton : First quality, 4Jd per lb ; second do, 3Jd per lb. Lamb : First quality, 4Jd per lb. Quotations for New Zealand hemp unchanged. New Zealand long-berried wheat (ex warehouse) (flat), 295 ; South Australian wheat do (restricted), 29s 9d ; Victorian do, 29s 3d. Danish butter, 119s per cwt. ; Victorian, 100s to 106s.
