In a carbine match at Christchurch, B Battery (Dunedin) defeated E Battery by a majority of 33 points. The charge of cruelty against Aberdeen Jews for slaughtering two bullocks after the Jewish method at the opening of the synagogue was dismissed. At the annual meeting of the Brisbane Tramway Company tho report showed a loss of £2878 on the year's operations, besides £5664 paid as interest.
