THE SERMON FUND. am OWING to the very scant assistance given to the gentleman who has up to the present provided the funds for the publication of one of the late. C. H. Spurgeon's sermons in each issue of the OTAGO WITNESS, it is with very great regret he has found it necessary to withdiaw from tbe arrangement made for their publication. The sermon which appears in the present issue will therefore be the last unless others who are williog to assist in the good work are prepared to come forward with substantial assistance. Persons who view with regret the stoppage of this means of reaching many people who are unable to attend a place of worship, and who are willing to help in the further publication of the Borrnons, can communicate with Mr Jas.
