Chess Items.
Mr Angus in playing off his tie with Mr Milner for the first Prize in the senior tourney of the Canterbury Club was unfortunate in losing all his three games. « Mr Jowitt wins the championship of the Auckland Club. The results of the play in the Congress appear in another column. The Cromwell Club has instituted consultation games, with the result of producing some very interesting chess.
