WAITAHUNA SHOW.

President, Mr Hugh Cameron ; vice-president, Mr Adam M'Corkindale ; treasurer, Mr A. Garden ; secretary, Mr James Moggath ; committee of management— Messrs Livingston, Craig, Rope, Martin Ryan, M'Ara, Stevenson, Cowen, John Robertson, Blaikie, Hammond, and Dick.

The thirteenth agricultural show of the Waitahuna Farmers' Club was held at WaitahuDa on Thursday. The day being beautifully fine there was a large attendance, a number of people visiting the show from Milton, Lawrence, and surrounding districts. There was a slight falling off in the number of entries in all sections of the show as compared with last year, but the exhibits were about up to the usual standard of the district as far as quality was concerned. The total number of entries was 185, there being 50 of cattle, 12 of sheep, 3 of swine, 14 of poultry, 56 of dairy produce, and 50 of horses. Although the competition in dairy produce wa9 keener than in any other department, the display in that department was not nearly so large as usual — a fact which was attributable to the prevalence of influenza in the district. The display of agricultural implements was larger than usual. Reid and Gray showed a reaper and binder and a Toronto sower ; the Farcsers' Agoncy Company a reaper and binder ; the Massey-Harris Company two reapers and binders, a press shoe drill, a Toronto mower, and two cultivators (one grass seed attachment) ; Murray, Roberts, and Co. a Hornsby reaper and binder ; the Buckeye Harvester Company a Lowdown reaper and binder ; and Morrow, Bassett.and Co. a M'Cormick machine. Mr M. Sinclair also showed a nice station waggon. The Milton Band was in attendance at the show, and played a number of selections at intervals. The prize-list is as follows :—: —
