Interested. — (1) No doubt the dentist has a good . • reason for the course of action he deems best though ro a non-professional mind it would seem much better to have the other two teeth out and thus complete the set. (2) It depends very much on circumstances as to how long a stopped tooth will last. If the nerve is killed, and every particle of tooth affected is removed, it may last for many years. To have, it done properly often necessitates several visits to the dentist. (3) If it was found necessary to remove the two teeth later on the vacancies thus caused in the plate could be filled in at a slight expense, (4) In imagining the tooth to be going, your friend is more likely to be wrong than the dentist.
