Evans.— On the 23rd July, at the residence of her parents, City road, Roßlyn, after a short but painful illness, Mary, second and beloved daughter of William and Margaret Evans; aged 26 years. Deeply regretted. Grant— On the 21st July, at The Willows, Caversham, Alexander Drummond, youngest son of Alexander Grant, Gray's Hills, South Canterbury; aged JO years. Gibson.— On the 9th July, at Newcastle, New South Wales, Mrs Kobert Gibson, eldest daughter of Joseph White, Macrae's Flat, Otago ; aged 26 years and 1 month. Deeply regretted. Heenan.— On the 20th July, at her residence, Cumberland street, Maria, the beloved wife of Dennis Heenan ; aged 51 years. Deeply regretted. M'Master.— On the 24th July, at his residence, Saddle Hill, Hugh M'Master ; aged 60 years.
