Truth, an evening paper, having published statements aud reprinted articles from Australian papers attacking the bona fides of Professor Richard, the medical electrician at present in Cnristcburcb, the latter made a challeßge by the terms of which he was to forfeit LIOOO in the event of the charges made being substantiated, Truth to forfeit LIOO should it fail to establish its case. Tbe paper took up the challenge this afternoon, and at hi=, meeting to-night Richard stated his stake would be forthcoming to-morrow.
