MESSRS HUDDAUT, PARKER, AND CO.'S STEAMERS.

Auckland, September 15. Mr Parker, of Huddart, Parker, and Co., states tliat his company's intercolonial service is to be inaugurated by the s.s. Warimoo next month.

The Warimoo is to leave Sydney for Auckland on 10th October, arriving here on the 14th, and foing hence to Melbourne via the South and lobart. Thi3 trip is to be specially made in time for the Melbourne Cup. The total time to be occupied from Melbourne round New Zealand ports to Sydney is expected to be much shorter than at present. From Sydney the steamer goes to Newcastle for coal, returns to Sydney, and then proceeds on her return voyage, via Melbourne, to New Zealand. The service will be what may be termed a vice versa, one, a steamer leaving Melbourne and Sydney respectively at the same time, and passing each other in New Zealand waters. Sydney will be made the depot for the steamers, and Newcastle the coal port. During the stay at Melbourne with passengers from New Zealand for the Melbourne Cup, arrangements will be made to board passengers on the ship while she remains in port for their convenience. Mr Parker states that the company intend to arrange for a trade between Western Australia and South Australia and New Zealand by means of their new steamers from this colony to Melbourne, and thence transhipping by the other steamere of their fleet. Wnep the company have their New Zealand service in full swing, they will have a complete chain of steamers running to all the Australian ports of any importance.
