DAIRY COW SALE.

Mr John Giundley (on behalf of the Farmers Agency Company, Limited) reports having held his first special sale of dairy cows at the Burnside Yards yesterday. There was a good entry, comprising heifers at first calf up to aged cows. All sorts were in big demand by the large attendance of buyers, who came from all parts, the sale being considered by vendors one of the most satisfactory held for a long time, as every lot (the last pen excepted) was sold under the hammer. At the special request of vendors the company will hold another sale on Friday, 23rd September. Altogether he sold 154 head, on account of the following vendors :— For Mr "W.
