SPREAD OF CHOLERA.

(Pee jP^ESS Association.) London, August 25. The cholera epidemic has spread to Rouen, in France, and Altiua, near Hamburg. Great precautions are being taken in Great Britain and on the Continent'to prevent its extension. Energetic safeguards are being taken at Hull, Grimsby, and other ports to prevent the cholera reaching England. . Similar precautions are being taken in Now York. - _ * August 26. Cholera has appeared at Berlin, and three ' cases have occurred at Gravesend among Jewish immigrants who arrived in a steamer from Hamburg. • French and German vessels are being quarantined at Antwerp.
