SPECIAL REMINDERS.
Acceptances for the Otago Hunt Club meeting, also entries for the Maiden Huntera' Steeplechase, are due on Saturday of this week, the 3rd inst.
The programme for the Taieri Amateur Turf Club's meeting on November 9 appears in this issue. The Maiden of 30sovs and the Steward's Purse of 40sovs are confined to the Taieri County ; and the other events are open to all horses. The Taieri Handicap, a mile and a-quarter, has an endowment of 7030v5, the Flying is worth 35sovs, and there are two good trots on the programme. Nominations for handicaps are duo on the 14th October.
