Sheepskins.— Dry crossbreds, 2s 6d to 5s 7d ; do merino, Is 3d to 5s Id ; green crossbreds, 33 to 4s lid ; do merino, 2s 4d to 4s ; dry lambs, Is to 2s lid ; pelts, 7d to 15d ; station skins (in bales and well dried), 5d to d\d per lb. Hides.— Quiet at, for heavies, 2Jd to 3d perlb: others, Id to 2±d per lb ; calfskins, 6d to Is 6d each.

Tallow.— Prime rendered, 18s to 21s; medium, 15s to 17s 6d ; inferior, 12s to 14s 6d ; rough fat, lOsto 13s ncr cwt. Grain.— The trade in cereals of all descriptions has been quiet. Wheat remains dull of Sdle except for parcels of prime quality, which command top rates ; other sorts unsaleable, even at very low prices. Oats : The demand for the present being satisfied, prices are rather easier, but as stocks are low we have no fear but present values viil be inaiptair.cd. Barley : Prime wanted, but little offered ; other grades low. Ryegrass seed : Now being dealt in, and is likely to be scarce. Clovers: New seeds are of good quality, but dearer than usual. Cocksfoot : Plentiful, with some nice samples. Chaff : More plentiful, and rather reduced in value. Potatoes : Not so many ottering, and firmer in value. Dairy produce : Scarce. We quote prime milling wheat 3s 7d to .te 9d, extra 3s lOd to 3s lid, medium do 3s 4d to 3s od, interiorandsprouted2s 4d to 3s 2d. Oats : Prime milling Is lOd to Is lid, bright feed Is 7£d to Is 9d, inferior and off-colour Is 5d to Is 7d -bags 6d. ?? a o Z\ : ' is to 3s 6d for best malting, other sorts 2s to 2s !)d— bags Od.
