At the meeting of the Auckland Bowling Club Mr A. W. Thomson was re-elected president. The report showed the club to be in an excellent position as to membership and finance, the credit balance being L 94. It was resolved that the trophies for the local bowling spasoti be limited to the annual club prizes, and tho surplus funds be devoted to prices for tne^ visitors at the interprovincial tournament. Thirty pmiii.K was subscribed in lh'.> towards the same object.
