THE LADIES' FRIEND.

For ladies of all ages, from the time of birth until old age, at all critical times, and during all constitutional changes which are peculiar to the sex, Clements Tonic surpasses all other preparations. Mrs Austin, the New Zealand woman who on the 21t>t June was shot by her husband iv Sydney, has been discharged from the hospital, being convalescent. The bullet fired into her neck has not been recovered, but the doctors do not think she will bo inconvenienced by it. Austin, it will bo remembered, committed suicide.
