TESTIMONIALS : To Bsn> ft Gba*. Mosona, Jane 8, 1891. I have jost finished ploughing about 100 aecas of land with Che Digging Plough that I got from you at the beginning of the season. The greater part of the ground was very bad with couch grass,, and very bard, owing to tee long eoatinuatlon of dry weather. The farrow we ploughed was about ISm square; the skim coulters put the conch grass well down in the bottom of the furrow, and the depth of the furrow brought a fine lot of soil on to the top, making a flu* seed bed —a good deal better than ever I expected. I have found the Patent Steel Point a great Improvement where the ground is so hard and dry* being able to torn them upside down, always makißg the plough keep a good hold of the ground. I have found that the 'squarer you plough the betterthat is, keeping as deep as towed. I am very wall satisfied with the plough, as it is so easily handled. ■ • * -"* Bfc *SJ^^ ;• •— ->.:. In reply to your m6mo. of 27th inst., asking my opinion of the work done by your plough at the DIGGING PLOUGH f RIAL held here on Tuesday last, I must say I was agreeably surprised to see your M Converted Digger " do such splendid work, considering the dry state of the ground, and the tough couch grass it had to work in—the Utter it buried completely oat of sight and left the farrows thoroughly broken ap into a fine tilth. There was bo doubt hi the mind of any of the farmers present that it did superior work to either of the other three diggers on the ground, and the draught did not appear to be any heavier on the horses. ¥ou are conferring a great boon on farmers by making their old doable farrow ploughs convertible into ** Diggers" atsueh a reasonable cost.— Yourj sincerely, , 4|[-; JOHN HACPHBRSON, Manager. Toßi»*Quf/ N>^' er '^ f^®% 1 ' BomMinuEj Jane 9, 1891. I can say nothing too good of the Single Farrow Digger I got from you. It covers in the grass well, and pulverisea the soil thoroughly. Sour Patent Share Point is a grand thing, especially for hard ground, always keeping a keentuttiog adge below. I am thoroughly well satisfied with the plough and its work. ••v.x-v ; (SUnsd) BOBBBT GIBSON. (To Him * Gbat. '" Fapaxaio, May 80, 1890. I have much pleasure in informing you the two Digging Plooghs have given me great satisfao* tion. They break up the ground so well that very little harrowing is required. lam working them with four horses each, and doing four acres per day with each plough. I am going to sow with the drill, and am considering whether I will harrow any before sowing, as the ground » so well pulverised already. If I do, it will be only one torn of the harrows. My men say that they make a much better job, and do not leave the farrows on edge hi lea as the imported one does. * .. (Bifned) DONALD BORRiE. To Rim ft Giay* ' FuasAOT Vau.it. Jane 5» 1891.
