NOTES BY JACK.
The Northern Bowling Association held its first meeting at Wellington on the 13th, when the following bowling clubs were represented t — Auckland Napier, Wellington, Nelson, Wan* ganui, Palmeraton, New Plymouth, and Blenheim. Mr C. D. Barraud (Wellington) was elected president of the association, Mr T. Morrison (Napier) vice-president, and Mr Lambert (Wellington) hon. secretary and treasurer. It was decided that the Napier tournament next Easter be held under the auspices of the Northern Bowling Association. Rules for the new association were adopted, and nearly all the amendments sent by the Nelson club were agreed to.
