Sweepstakes to be paid at scales by starters only. Name, age, pedigree (if any) of horses, and colours of the rider must be given with nomination. No Nomination or Acceptance will be received after tbe advertised time under any pretence, nor unless accompanied by Oai>h. No Entries will be received for any of the above Races except upon this condition : " That all disputes, claims, and objections arising out of the Raoing sball be decided by the Stewards or whomsoever they may appoint, and their decision on all points connected v ith the carrying out of this programme shall be final." No horse entered for any Handicap at this meeting will be allowed to run in any Hack Race. Three horses to enter for nil Post Entry Baces or no event. Jookey costume will be enforced. Five per cent, will be deducted from all stakes. The Dunedin Jockey Club Rules will bo strictly enforced. Any person entering a protest must deposit the sum of £2 2s ; and such protest being deemed frivolous by the Stewards the amount will be forfeited. The Handicapping will be performed by the Stewards or by those whom they may appoint. Horses having run in a Race or Races where entries are made at the post, will not be allowed to start for the Consolation Handicap.
