ANNUAL SALE OF PRIZE AND STUD STOCK.

Messrs Wbight, Etkpiiesson, and Co. rrporfc hiving held their annual sale at Tahuna Pnrk, under the auspices of the Otago Agricultural aud Pastoral! Association, on Wednesday, 26th mat. The quantity of stock offered at this year's suite was much below the average, but there was ample for all the demand, that was experienced. For draught mare» and geldings there weie apparently uo pureuasera, for no sales were effected. First-class upstanding hacks and light harness horses were inquired for' freely, and many more than were sold wouldi have changed owners if a convenient time had. been arranged for the Bale. In stud cattle very little was done, and that mostly in shorthorns, but the. prices were low A few stud rann also found buyers,, one very fine Lincoln ram hogget, from the New Zealand and Australian Land Company's Moerakt flock, sold by us making the very satisfactory price of 45gs, Messrs Murray. Roberta, and Co. being the purchasers, lor a North leland client. Most of the pigs forward sold fairly considering the times. Appended is our priced list : — HOUSES. On account of Mr J. B.
